Problem Summary
By conducting research on pet owners, we found there is a gap in information that needs to be filled for folks new to raising a pet. Our goal was to improve the experience of finding recommended brands and services for pets.

User Research
We ran Contextual Inquiries on participants about their experience trying to find groomers for their pets, their past experiences with groomers, and what they look for in a groomer.

Scenarios
The scenario is centered around the club leader trying to find a way to spread the word about their organization’s existence. The leader is in charge of running the club and maintaining its members. This also includes bringing new members to help grow the club in size.
Task Analysis
By conducting research into pet owners we found when people adopt animals and have to learn the hard way how to manage their own lives and their pets.
Brand Browser
This task tackles diets, recommendations and information on the packaging.
Grooming
Give the users recommendations based on their pet and help guide them into choosing a groomer that will do what they need.
Medical and Diet suggestions
Display typical and potential diseases by the breed of pet to the users.

We wanted to make the design friendly and as simple as possible to cater to the large demographic of pet owners
There was a focus on only cats and dogs, as that was the largest demographic for pet owners in the world and to reduce the variables to design around.
What We Learned
Most users found the design of the application to be relatively pleasing to the eye with the combinations of colors and fonts. However, there was general confusion from the icons used and the inconsistency between systems between the tasks such as the grooming vs veterinary tasks.

Next Steps:
● Implement more navigation options through the dashboard
● Fix the scheduling inconsistencies between the grooming and vet tasks
● Add more functionality for the shopping list and product information
● Change icons for easy understanding for the average users
● More app feedback for grooming and vet sections for user understanding
